We helped this client bring their dream to reality with this awesome transformation. Before we started their project, the yard was just a steep, and uneven slop that was washing into the preserve. We elevated the rear lawn by bringing in native limestone boulders and adding 8 truckloads of fill and topsoil. Downspouts were tied into drainage to help reduce stormwater runoff.
We installed a paver walkway that leads to a circular patio for a firepit and chairs. We helped compliment their new outdoor area with ornamental grasses, Dwarf bird of paradise and tropical palm trees. The rear buffer planting is primarily a native mixture of trees, ornamental grasses and large shrubs. We installed native trees such as Southern Live Oak, Little Gem Magnolia and Sea Grape to provide shade and provacy.
We installed native ornamental grasses. Such as Sand Coardgrass and Dwarf Fakahatcheegrass for their root system which will hold the berm in place and help further reuce runoff and prevent erosion. We also softened the roadside by planting a green shrub wall of Clusia hedges. This hedge could be maintained anywhere from existing height to 6 or 8, 10 or even higher.
We finished the project off with a beautiful Alliance Outdoor Lighting system so they can enjoy their outdoor area long into the night.
We helped this client rebuild their lawn after hurricane Irma took down one of Fort Myers most beautiful mature Southern Live Oaks. This tree and project was recognized by the mayor of fort Myers.
We worked directly with homeowner in this project and it was a pleasure. We root raked old tree roots, brought in 12 cubic yards if fill, degraded the side and installed Floratam turf.
We relocated a large branch of the tree to the center island as a monument that our client will later plant around.
